At Abbey Park, it’s all about choice – from residents selection of rooms to the range of activities and services available every day.

As well as 30 private rooms for people with dementia and dementia nursing care needs, Abbey Park has 24 self-contained care suites, each with a bedroom, lounge and kitchenette. These double-sized suites are suitable for individuals who enjoy the extra space.

There are plenty of other opportunities every day, catered to the specific needs and wishes of each resident. As an alternative to a bustling day out, you might enjoy peace and quiet in the home’s sanctuary room, or its new sensory gardens, which have a seating area, water features and a bandstand for musical events.

You might make a visit to the essentials shop for toiletries, snacks and coffee. Not only that, but the home even has its own on-site hair and reflexology salon. Since Abbey Park also has its own reflexologist, the complementary therapy is very readily available to residents, and it’s especially calming and beneficial for people with dementia.

Abbey Park is also committed to providing alternative therapies such as music therapy to residents, while our Chaplain offers pastoral support to all, whatever their beliefs.

Funded through charitable support, every MHA care home also prides itself in being able to offer unique and memorable opportunities and activities for residents to quite literally help them 'seize the day'.

Whatever you need and whatever you want, Abbey Park promotes physical and mental wellbeing for each individual.

There’s a wide range of social events, so you never need to feel bored or lonely.

Meal times are a special part of the day for you to savour tasty food, freshly cooked by our chef to suit you and any dietary needs. And, of course refreshments are available throughout the day for you and your visitors, who are welcome at any time.

Abbey Park has the latest safety and security design features so you can live life to the full with peace of mind.
