Waterside House provides a safe and caring environment for up to 60 people living with dementia.
It was opened to residents in 2005 as a partnership between MHA, the local Primary Care Trust and Wolverhampton social services, and supported by a generous donation from the John Ward Trust.
Situated at the end of a quiet road within a mile of the Wednesfield shopping centre, our Wolverhampton care home is part of an integrated care community that also includes MHA Bridge Court, a complex of modern retirement living apartments.
Waterside is made up of four wings, each with en-suite bedrooms, a choice of lounges, a dining area and kitchenette. Residents also have access to a large enclosed garden area to the rear of the home.
We are committed to providing alternative therapies such as reflexology and music therapy, which does much to help promote the well-being of each individual, while our Chaplain offers pastoral support to all at Waterside House, whatever their beliefs.
Funded through charitable support, every MHA care home also prides itself in being able to offer unique and memorable opportunities and activities for residents to quite literally help them 'seize the day'.
